1-Prince Rahotop and his wife Nofret:
These two statues, which can be counted among the masterpieces of
the Museum.Represent a couple of courtiers who lived at the time
of the first pyramid builders. Prince Re-hotep and his wife Nofret,
he was most probably a son of king Senefru. He held the title of
the High Priest of Re at Heliopolis, Director of Expedition and
Chief of construction. His wife Nofret was designated as (well
known to the king), found at Medoum, Fourth Dynasty. (About 2620
BC).
2-The Medium Geese:
This magnificent panel on which three pairs of Geese are shown
feeding on the grass, gives us an excellent idea of the high
quality of Egyptian painting. It comes from the mastaba of
Nefer-Maat and his wife Itet at Medoum. Dates back to the Fourth
Dynasty (about 2620 B.C).
3-The
Dwarf Seneb and his family:
The dwarf Seneb was an Egyptian dwarf who attained to a high
position. He was the chief of all the palace dwarfs, charged with
the care of the royal wardrobe. In this group statue which was
found in the small limestone naos (exhibited in the same
showcase). Seneb is represented here seated on a stool, squatting
with crossed legs, in the position of a Scribe, his hands are
placed on his breast . his wife is sitting beside him in an
affectionate position, encircles him with her arms, while his kids
are standing in the front of their father in the place, where the
legs should be, the artiest was cleaver enough to represent the
composite in a realistic manner. From Giza- Fifth Dynasty (about
2475 B.C)
4-The
Nobel man called TY:
Ty was a high official of considerable wealth and one of the most
influential personages of the court, he was in charge for two of
the 5th. Dynasty pyramids and several solar temples. The statue
was found in his tomb at Saqqara, standing in the serdab (a
chamber for the statue of the tomb's owner) behind the south wall
of the offering chapel .The statue represents Ty in all of his
dignity, in a youthful body with a starched kilt, his left leg is
steeped forward found at Saqqara belongs to the From fifth dynasty
(about 2428-2399B.C).
5-The
Statue of King Pepi I:
This life size statue of king Pepi I is a exceptionally well
preserved example of copper statuary, it was discovered buried
under the floor of a lateral chapel in the temple of
Hierakonpolis.Old kingdom-sixth Dynast.

false door of the wife of Nikauere
This false door is the most beautiful decorated artifact found in
the tomb of Nikaure who was the judge, the overseer of the envoys,
and the chief administrator of the palace. It resembles an actual
door With frame, drum and niche through which the deceased could
communicate with the world of the living and receive the food
,offerings and prayers, which are necessarily for his survival in
the next world. there were two false doors in his tomb, one for
him and the other for his wife called Ihat who was a priestess of
Heather. In the event that the provision of the offerings may
neglected by the living. the deceased could make the offerings
lists which inscribed on the door be changed into real, by the
power of the magical funerary formula inscribed on the false door
that called (hotep di nisw) ,which means the offerings that the
king and the god may kindly give to the deceased . Saqqara, Old
Kingdom,5th. Dynasty (about 2450 B C.)
